Jackson Hively serves as the Bee Cave District Executive for the Capitol Area Council of Scouting America, where he supports 29 Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships across western Travis County. In this role, he works closely with unit leaders to strengthen program quality, expand membership, and ensure every Scout has access to a strong and wellsupported Scouting experience. The majority of these units are in the communities of Westlake, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and Spicewood.
A South Austin native, Jackson grew up in the Scouting program and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2015 after completing a restoration and archiving project for the local and historic Eanes cemetery. He went on to earn a master’s degree in political science from Texas State University in 2021.
His lifelong love of the outdoors and the leadership skills he gained as a youth now fuel his commitment to helping today’s young people build confidence, character, and a sense of adventure. He is passionate about empowering the next generation through meaningful experiences and the values of Scouting.
