Cathy Hoover joined the Westlake Chamber of Commerce as the Executive Director in spring of 2018. Her focus has been on growing the membership, increasing member engagement, creating more meaningful community service and offering greater sponsorship opportunities.  

Cathy has been actively engaged with the Westlake community since she met her husband, Rex WHS ’81, in the early nineties. In 2004, they moved back to Austin to raise their two boys in Eanes ISD. Cathy immediately became involved in the community through the Junior League of Austin, several school and sports booster clubs, and through her work with the Eanes Education Foundation where she has served in a variety of roles over years.
