Dr. Emma Weiss is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in general dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and surgical dermatology. She completed her medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and finished her internship at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she developed a special interest in Oncodermatology, skin cancer, and treating skin disease in cancer patients. Dr. Weiss completed her dermatology residency at Yale Department of Dermatology and served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining Central Texas Dermatology, Dr. Weiss was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Colorado Department of Dermatology and the Rocky Mountain Veterans Affairs Hospital and served as the Director of Quality and Safety.
Her love of learning, teaching, and forming longitudinal relationships with patients led her to a career in dermatology. Dr. Weiss is dedicated to delivering extraordinary, evidence based, dermatologic care and hopes to develop longitudinal partnerships with her patients and families. She has a special interest in skin cancer detection and prevention as well as treating skin, hair, and nail problems that can arise during and after cancer treatment and cancer survivorship.
