Dan Haydt is the owner and founder of Visual Lighting Technologies a LED Lighting manufacture located in Cedar Park, Texas. Dan started the company in 2000 in Southern California specializing in high end luxury retail lighting and theme park lighting. VLT provided customized lighting Solutions for DeBeers Diamonds, Cartier and Disney Theme parks worldwide. From Shanghia China to Paris France to Austin Texas, VLT lighting fixtures are shipped worldwide lighting retail stores, commercial spaces, and private residences. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cal State University of Northridge in Theater Arts specialization in Theatrical Lighting. Prior to starting Visual Lighting Technologies in 2000, Dan worked for 7 years at Entertec (founded by Dave Cunningham) as one of five developers of the Source Four Theatrical Lighting Fixture. The Source Four revolutionized the theatrical lighting business as we know it today. Dan moved his company in 2017 to Cedar Park and his family followed in 2019 making Austin their home.
